You are cordially invited to an intimate breakfast roundtable for technology leaders: emerge hosted by Sahaj on Wednesday 13 May 2026.
As organisations accelerate their adoption of Artificial Intelligence, the conversation often centres on the technology’s promise rather than the practical reality of implementation. At this event, Jyoti Singh, Solution Consultant at Sahaj will share a practitioner’s perspective on “intelligent engineering underneath” an AI-powered platform. The discussion will draw from our recent experience building an in-house, AI-powered sourcing system for a financial services client.
This session is an open discussion grounded in real-world engineering experience. We will explore two interwoven threads critical to modern technology leaders:
AI in the Product: We will discuss the reality that LLMs alone cannot deliver the consistency required for high-stakes business decisions. You will learn how to design a hybrid architecture that pairs deterministic logic with AI capabilities to ensure trust and reliability.
AI in the Engineering Process: We will share insights on deploying AI tools across the entire software delivery lifecycle – from domain learning and requirement analysis to automated test generation and debugging. We will also address the challenge of verification becoming the new bottleneck as AI increases coding throughput.
Ultimately, the discussion will focus on a crucial insight: speed without judgment is just technical debt. The systems that successfully hold up in production are not necessarily those built with the most AI, but those built with the greatest engineering discipline.
