AI has made writing code dramatically faster, but coding is only one slice of engineering. This talk is a demo of using AI assistants across the wider lifecycle: refining a story, designing the approach, developing the implementation and reviews. Along the way, we will look at the pitfalls of handing too much over to the AI, and some practices that help keep humans in the loop. A practitioner session aimed at engineers who want to use AI thoughtfully across their day-to-day work.
